Utilization calculations

This page provides an overview of how utilization statistics are calculated.

Utilization definitions

Working days: The weekdays (Mon-Fri) applicable to the period of the calculation.
Hours per day: The daily required number of hours, specified on the user profile.
Leave: Leave days taken during the period of the calculation.
Public holidays: Public holidays applicable during the period of the calculation.

A c t u a l u t i l i z a t i o n = \frac{T o t a l h o u r s l o g g e d [P a s t f o u r w e e k s]}{T o t a l h o u r s e x p e c t e d [P a s t f o u r w e e k s]}

The coloring is done in this manner:

🟢: Actual utilization > target utilization.
🟠: Actual utilization < target utilization, but more than 75% of the target utilization.
🔴: Actual utilization < 75% of the target utilization.
