Frequently asked questions
The questions support hears most often.
Why can't I capture hours on my timesheet?
Greyed-out cells usually mean the week is locked: a resource allocation request is still pending, an invoice for the period was created with Lock Hours selected, the project end date has passed, your allotted hours are used up, or the timesheet has already been submitted or approved. Ask your project or resource manager to unlock the relevant constraint.
Why can't I edit my expense report?
It is most likely no longer in draft. Expense reports in approved or paid status cannot be edited.
What is the difference between "Reports to" and "Resource Manager"?
Reports to is the line manager of the user and determines where they sit on the organogram. The resource manager is the person who approves requests for allocating the user to a project. They are often the same person, but do not have to be.
What happens if I change the mileage rate during a project?
Only expenses created after the mileage rate update will use the new rate. Previous expenses are not affected by the change.
Why is Consult running slowly?
Consult may feel slow because of stored cache data in your browser affecting its performance. Clearing your browser cache usually resolves this.
