Set up the chatbot

Connect to the Consult Telegram chatbot to receive updates such as leave approvals and new projects.

The Consult Telegram chatbot sends messages for certain Consult updates, such as leave request approvals and notifications of newly created projects.

To connect to the chatbot:

1. Click the user profile icon in the top right corner.
2. Select Telegram bot. This opens Telegram in the browser, with the option to continue in the app if it is installed.
3. Prompt the bot by typing “Hi” and follow the connection steps.
4. After connecting, return to the bot and prompt it for the menu to see the available commands.

Tip: Install the Telegram app on a computer to access it more readily.
